Yeah, Lew Little. He was basically a comic strip agent who selected comics for syndication. In most cases, however, Little outsourced the actual syndication to a bigger company. That was the case with FUSCO BROTHERS, which was picked up by Lew Little, but the actual syndication was through Universal.

Excellent display of obscure comic-strip knowledge, Charles. And I'm assuming you did it without Google.

Lew was also instrumental in getting GARFIELD off the ground, as well as a several other strips.

Like most cartoonists, I submitted stuff to Lew right along with the other syndicates. He was always complimentary of my work, but nothing ever came of the submissions.
